In 1977 the Bird City Times ran an article called "We Remember". The "We Remember" articles were community members' remembrances of when Bird City was Charles A. Lindbergh's Playground in 1922-23. In 2018 Marsha Magley compiled those articles, stories, and memories into a 28-page book. The Bird City Historical Association has republished this book for more people to enjoy.
